Revamped and a whole year older.  That's right, the big 2-0.  I really can't believe it myself.
And this blog is going under some major reconstruction.

So excited for a fresh start and LOTS of posting!
I have so much to fill you all in on.

Findings Whilst Thrifting..

This past weekend Snavey Snave Snave and I thrifted our lives away! Literally. But I found some awesome finds which I'm superbly stoked about!  On friday{a day after this beautiful piece was put on craigslist}, I found the PERFECT chair for my dorm [you know a place for all my franss to place their bums while enjoying some good fellowship] but to my dismay it was sold THAT.DAY. I know I was kind of traumatized[my mom always told me I was over-dramatic, no wonder where my sister get's it from].

Moi Findings:
--An antiquey vintage chair. eight dolla dolla bills.
--A beautiful holder for all my junk necessities[A SHELF!]. fifteen dolla dolla bills.
--Stunna Shoess. two dolla dolla bills[each]
--THREE, Count 'em THREE embroidery hoops. fitty cent[each].

[retro chair in Snave's rollin machine--her subaro]

[hopefully I can make something as cool as Janel did]

Snave's Slick Findings:
--A gold chain with the graduating class of '77 pendant.
--A vintage bathing suit. six dolla dolla bills.
--and she ALMOST(but no cigar) purchased an original batiking painting....of a camel...for TWENTY dollaaas. [Probs not her thriftiest find in the Blue Mountain thrift store{obviously it was ginormous, MOUNTAIN is in the name for geesh sakes!}]

[Snave's bringing back the sheexxy with her suit]

27 Dresses.. More like 2, but close.

HEY HEY HEY! {Say it so well, Fat Albert would be jealous}

So now two of my friends are engaged and are both planning on getting married within the next six months.  I am SO stoked and cannot wait.. I mean I was given the honor to be a bridesmaid in both of their weddings [maid of honor in one..YEAH BUDDY!]!  I'm seriously overly excited!  They are both so creative and are going to have the most AHHHMAZING WEDDINGS EVER.  I love hearing stories of how people met and were proposed to [you know, the corny lovey dovey stuff]. But it for reals strikes a cord in my heart and could spend countless hours listening to peoples stories.  Did I mention I'm really excited!? Well, yes, of course I am!  I just never thought I'd be beginning my bridesmaid dress collection so soon. I mean it's not like I'm at TWENTY-SEVEN or anything but two in six months seems like a mighty lot!

Bee Tee Dubs.. I AM glad my franss are stylish because these lovely dresses are nothing like the lovely Katherine Heigl had to wear in that hilarious movie.

My beautiful [Bride-to-Be] friends picked out some pretty rad dresses if I must say so myself.

I have finally reached the age where my friends are actually getting married.. both strange and exciting.

What stepping-stone/mile-marker of life have you reached???

Hope you have a lovely flower-blooming {it's raining in good ol' PA} day!

Excuse me, Could you spare any change?

So I got to thinking and have come to realize I am an antsy person by nature. I've moved from state to state too many times to count on one hand, which isn't a bad thing at all. I loved it. I got to see new things and reinvent myself into whoever I wanted to be. Ultimately I found myself over these changes.

I'm quirky, the one to laugh at my own jokes, the one who breaks out in uncontrollable giggles when I'm nervous, the one who admires Suzy Homemaker and looks up crafts in Martha Stewart's: LIVING magazine, the one who is first to make fun of myself before anyone gets the chance, the one who trips going UP the stairs, the one who loves the chill atmosphere of coffee shops [and the people watching opportunities], the one who will some day take a hot air balloon ride, the one who ran her Bampa's lawn mower into the garage because she thought the gas was the brake [only to find out it would only bring her Bampa closer by bonding over a common secret], the one who gives complete and utter control to the hair dresser [because hair grows back, right?], the one who is itching to take pictures and photo documen-tate(?) her friends every move, the one who dreams over her future husband [even though she has no man in sight], the one who the one who runs around her house with her little brother [pretending to be dinosaurs], the one who will live some portion of her life in the city [a BIG city], the one who plays Butt Munchers and Sneaky Nuggets with the little sibs [it's a game passed down from sibling to sibling], the one who will quietly sit and watch her mom cook [taking in all her magical cooking ways], the one who can never save a dime [yet somehow is grasping the idea of it and is actual accumulating a savings], the one who has mastered her people skills at the mall [so much so that she can put stories to every stranger], the one who wants to be 'that girl' with a sweet motorcycle, the one who will one day step to the edge of an airplane/platform...and JUMP [I'll have a parachute/bungee cord silly], the one who can inhale more chocolate-peanut butter icing cupcakes in a minute than any other hot dog eating world champion, the one who aspires to venture around the world [maybe the moon!], the one who has a heart for missions [and fighting human trafficking(random, but true)]. I am me, and I am still learning about me.  I know I love the spontaneity of change and although I can't hop on a plane to Europe [or Egypt, or  Africa, or wherever] but I can... get a hair cut! And that is what I did yesterday.

[DISCLAMER: Were these pictures taken in the work bathroom?]
{SHTANKY!}
[Why yes, yes they were. Thanks for noticing.]

What is something on your heart that you want to do before it's too late?

Hope you have a thought-pondering and wonderfully wild Wednesday!

I Ate. and Died. and went straight to Heaven.

Good 'Fill-Your-Tummy' Morning!

At work, all of my lovely co-workers are baking PHENOMS. And that's an understatment. Today a co-worker brought in Oatmeal Cinnamon Chip Cookies. Please just take a guess as what the main ingredients are... CINNAMON {mmmmmm}, OATMEAL, and CRAISINS. Probably the epitome of greatness in edible form. UPDATE: These are my newest, delectably, sweet and savory favorite cookie! A little overdramatic? Well, it was well worth it. So go on and sink your nibblers into this treat. Golly-gee, sink them into the whole batch. No one has to know. And just to save you from googling your heart out for this recipe [which isn't even a family-guarded recipe that was passed down from generation and generation of cinnamon harvesters, oh no this is a recipe for the public].

Weekend Shmeekend.

Why Hello There!
This past weekend I was blessed by reuniting with a friend from college. We ventured downtown for the monthly FIRST FRIDAY, with the little seester and her comrade in crime. It was a magical time captured by photography of my dear friend, Tony [aka Tone Tone].  It was a blast filled with delectable treats and refreshments found at my haven, Prince Street Cafe.  After filling our tummys, we hiked over to Queen Street to explore some galleries [sketchy galleries at that.. pretty creepy but SOOOOO worth it for these legit pictures] and all the heavenly vintage shops. I was in my glory friday night.

{one day I will own one of these puppys}

Hope you have a tea-drinking Monday!

More of the world is GOOOD.

"I believe more of the world is good, rather than bad."
--the lovely words John Mayer spoke at his Battle Studies concert last night, It. Was. Epic.

So yesterday while I was at work my mom texted me an URGENT MESSAGE telling me to call her right away, [heart drop]. Yeah, I know. Freaked me out too, but I dialed her digits and come to find out we were given John Mayer and Train tickets! And my sister and I were the ones who got go. {Oh yeah another side note my sister got her drivers permit} Scary, right? --Anyways. FOCUS. Train was legit and quite the entertainer if I must say so my self. He was busting out moves Michael Jackson would be jealous of! And John Mayer was Mr. Rico Suave. He had the crowd jamming to a little jazz that he mixed into the show for a little spice and everything nice.

What was the most exciting part of the night you ask?

Could it be...
Riding the [free] ride at Chocolate World.. all for a [free] hershey bar at the end of the ride (just to kill time before the show)

{those were some MONSTEROUS bottles of choco-choco syrup}
Could it be...
singing with random peeps in the JAM PACKED parking lot of the Hershey Stadium?

Could it be...
the chinese fire drill that may or may not have happened while waiting for traffic to move?

Could it be... .
being given free tickets to this stinkin concert?

Could it be...
sneaking to the front of the concert when eveyone else thought it was over ONLY to find out Senor Mayer was coming out for an encore?

{introductions: Gio-little sis that got her permit; Me; Heid; Hannah-Heid's little sis with the photo skills}

OKAY IT WAS A MIXTURE OF ALL OF THOSE. I just can't choose.

I hope you all have a jazzy friday!
[Rae]

Oh yeah, thanks to Hannah--Heid's sis-- for these photo documentations of a rad time last night!
